Outerland (Project Stars) goes into another soft launch in SEA
Outerland (Project Stars) can be downloaded on Android in the US or Asia. It's like No Man's Sky, but on mobile.
Outerland (Project Stars) is a mobile game that is being developed by Tencent Mobile. For now, you can play it on Android, however, we don't have information about the iOS version. The servers are situated in the US or Asia, depending on what version you choose. Players can expect console-level graphics and a huge world where you need to survive. For that, you should collect basic materials and start building your colony from scratch. Yes, it's like Elon Musk's plans, but in a virtual reality.
As you progress in Outerland, you will advance technologically and will be able to build transport or even a rocket to go on an adventure on other planets. It's good that the devs have added a tutorial for those unfamiliar with the game or with the genre. But if you've played No Man's Sky, you'll see many similarities. For example, you have the same blaster to chop wood or collect rocks.
The devs of Outerland promise more than 10 kinds of ecosystems and hundreds of animals. The only thing we are not sure of is the multiplayer.
System requirements for Outerland (Project Stars)
- OS Android 4.1 or later;
- CPU: 1.6 GHz (quad-core) or more;
- RAM: 2.0 GB or more.
