Omega Strikers is being developed by ex Riot Games developers

Omega Strikers is going to be a mix of MOBA and hockey. The release will be in 2023.

Omega Strikers is a PC, console, and mobile game. In it, players will be split into 2 teams that consists of 2 or 3 players. Their goal is to score as much as they can. This can be done by choosing a unique character and using his or her abilities to either kick the ball or demolish one of the opponents. There is a cooldown on returning to the small arena.

Omega Strikers is being developed by people who worked on League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics. And they were taking lead roles, so it means the new project should be alright. The game will be out in 2023 on iOS and Android. You can play it now on PC via Steam, it's F2P with in-game purchases.

It's great that Omega Strikers will support cross-play and, hopefully, cross-progression. Also, the developers say there are no lootboxes or buffs that make P2W-players stronger. You can win only by courage and good strategy. Every new season there will be new fighters, arenas, unlockable items, and mechanics. Let's hope for the better.
