Genshin Impact gets ready for the 3.1 patch with new content

Genshin Impact will get new playable characters and a new area to explore.

Genshin Impact is going to get a new update on September 28th. The new patch is called "King Deshret and the Three Magi". The Sumeru region will be extended by adding a huge desert area. In the middle of it, there will be dungeons full of puzzles and ancient mechanisms. As players complete missions for the locals, they will unfold more factions.

Of course, there will be at least two mechanical Bosses that guard the Mausoleum of King Deshret. Apart from that, 3.1 patch brings 3 Sumeru characters — Nilou (Hydro), Mahamatra Cyno (Electro), and Candace (Hydro). But it's not all — to further enhance player experience, version 3.1 includes dynamic terrain deformation, that will make realistic trails on the sand.

If you like to play Genshin Impact with a controller, you will be able to do it with DualSense from PlayStation 5. And for those who don't really like sands, but more into Mondstadt — HoYoVerse will bring a Weinlesefest with more stories, events, mini-games, and rich rewards.
