Captor Clash is a 2.5D slasher for smartphones
Captor Clash came out on Android in Southeastern Asia. You can play it, too.
Captor Clash is a mobile project that is available in Google Play in the Philippines and, presumably, in other countries of the region. It's a slasher game with nice graphics and visual-novel style story. The character models look like they were made for consoles and not for mobile. Apart from that, players should expect cutscenes made with the game's engine and voiced dialogues.
Captor Clash has 2.5D locations where you run left and right and fight bad guys. It's great that the controls are manual, and the gameplay is split into chapters and missions to make the matters easier for arcade players. As this is a mobile game, there are idle-elements where your character earns gold and XP when you're offline or doing something else in the main menu.
One of the peculiar things about Captor Clash is the soundtrack that changes according to the location and biome you're in. For example, during the first missions, Mortal Kombat fans will hear some familiar synth tunes.
